My last gig of 2017

So I got to play my very last gig of the year with Mr Perkins at the Coolum Beach Hotel last night. Rick, Ray and Leigh and the great crowd made the last one a very memorable night of the year.

As I reflect upon the year while writing this post, I gotta say I feel quite blessed to have played some awesome venues around this country and others like off the coast of Vanhuatu and New Caledonia with incredible bands like Sessions, Raise Your Glass (Pink Tribute Show), Chester, Fifth Avenue, Radio Club Band and Mr Perkins.

This industry is incredibly demanding on a musicians mental and physical health but last night whenever I may feel drained, I'm really reminded of how amazing it is to be able to play guitar and sing and bring joy to others .
